Their Habitat
The most common places for this bat to live is in the southern United States. Indiana bats hibernate during winter in caves or also abandoned mines.The caves have to be draft free and hot temperature so they do not freeze to death. After hibernation the bats migrate to warmer places such as hardwood forests.
Their Diet
Their diet is made up of night-flying aquatic and terrestrial insects. They find these around or in lakes, rivers, swamps, and ponds. Besides those insects, they also eat flies and moths.
